Bajaj is already the biggest exporter of motorcycles in India followed by Honda, and Bangladesh is one of its most important markets. Bajaj stood top in the list with 69 Million (USD) from total export value. TVS motor is expanding its exports business of bikes. Honda will use its two-wheeler base to increase exports of bikes to other countries. Honda motorcycle export report of India has registered 11.83% of sales. A total quantity of 12937 Yamaha Bikes has been exported in March 2017. Suzuki Motorcycles, Royal Enfield, Harley Davidson and BMW also increased its overall exports to compensate for declining domestic sales. Bikes Export Report of India: Model Wise Analysis


Bajaj Auto exported the most two-wheelers out of the country in March 2017. As per report of Export Genius, Bajaj has built up their faith with their marketing value. The company has exported 21348 bikes of Boxer BM 100 with a total value of 7.24%. Pulsar 150 of Bajaj was second in the list with 6.63% value. The company has only exported 9851 vehicles of Honda Dio which was top in the list. It has registered sales of 4.88% value followed by Honda Twister (2.88%).

Bikes Export Report of India: Region-Wise Analysis


Export Genius has managed to collect the region-wise bikes export data and report of India across the world. India has major markets in the countries of Asia and Pacific Island. In nearly, half revenue of the business of India bikes export is generating from the market of Asian countries. India has registered almost 48% value of the total revenue from this region in March 2017. The country has exported 45048 motorcycles in South America as it stood second in the list. India is exporting on a small scale in some regions such as Arab States and North America with total value of 1.41% and 1.04% respectively.

It is not possible for India to run export business via land route only. Indian ports are playing an important role in India Bikes Export business. A total value of 13 crores (In Dollars) has generated from export business of motorcycles through Indian Ports in March 2017. Jawahar Lal Nehru Port (JNPT) which is located in East Mumbai has exported 90247 motorcycles during March 2017. However, it is half of the total quantity exported by India through ports. Gari Harsuru ICD port exported 29794 motorcycles and stood next on the chart followed by Chennai Sea (10838).
