Russia’s largest export commodity in 2019 was crude oil, which was shipped worth USD 121,443 million. That dollar amount of was declined from USD 129,049 million in 2018. Russia exported 267,466,479 tons of crude oil in 2019. Since last 10 years, the highest value of crude oil exports from Russia recorded in 2018 of USD 129,049 million and the lowest value recorded in 2016 of USD 73,676 million. From 2010-2012, the export value of crude oil increased, which declined from the four consecutive years. Russia’s exports of crude oil rose in 2017 and 2018, however it decreased in 2019. Russia exported 267,466,479 tons of crude oil in 2019 to the world. According to Russia customs data, the growth in value of crude oil registered -6% between 2018 and 2019. The growth in value of crude oil exports in the previous years as follows 34% (2010-2011), 5% (2011-2012), -4% (2012-2013), -11% (2013-2014), -44% (2014-2015), -15% (2015-2016), 27% (2016-2017) and 38% (2017-2018).

Russia’s top 10 export partners of crude oil in 2019 were China (USD 33,198 million), Netherlands (USD 20,907 million), Germany (USD 8,321 million), South Korea (USD 7,598 million), Belarus (USD 6,551 million), Italy (USD 6,518 million), Poland (USD 5,880 million), Finland (USD 4,357 million), Turkey (USD 3,681 million) and Japan (USD 3,218 million).
