As per China export data, China’ top 10 export products in 2019 were Electrical Machinery & Equipment (26.8%), Machinery (16.6%), Furniture, Bedding, etc. (3.9%), Plastics (3.3%), Vehicles (2.9%), Optical, Photographic, Medical Equipment (2.8%), Knitted or Crocheted Apparel & Clothing (2.7%), Articles of Iron & Steel (2.6%), Not Knitted or Crocheted Apparel & Clothing (2.5%) and Toys, Games & Sports Requisites (2.2%) as per China export statistics.
According to China trade data, China’s top 10 exports accounted for 67% of the overall value of its global shipments. Toy & game was the fastest growing industry among these categories, which showed an increase in the value by 10.7% in 2019. China shipment data shows articles made from iron & steel with 6.1% gain stood at second place. Among China’s top 10 export categories, not knitted or crocheted apparel or clothing was the leading decliner with a drop of -6.5%. China export data shows China’s top 10 export partners in 2019 were United States (USD 418 billion), Hong Kong (USD 279 billion), Japan (USD 143 billion), South Korea (USD 110 billion), Vietnam (USD 98 billion), Germany (USD 79 billion), India (USD 74 billion), Netherlands (USD 73 billion), United Kingdom (USD 62 billion) and Taipei, Chinese (USD 55 billion). Percentage-wise, these countries accounted for 55.9% of the total exports in 2019 as per China export statistics.
As per China shipment data and trade statistics, Chinese goods were majorly supplied to Asian countries with about 50% of exports by value in 2019. 20.1% of shipments were departed from China to North American trade partners. China shipped another 19.9% and 4.5% to Europe and Africa respectively. Smaller percentages were recorded from Latin America, Oceania and New Zealand.
