Singapore is a country in Asian continent, which stood
as the world’s 16th largest import country and 15th
largest export country in 2019. Singapore’s largest trading partner was China,
which shared 13.2% to total Singapore imports and 13.2% to total Singapore
exports. Singapore’s top 10 import partners accounted 68.9% to overall value of
shipments and Singapore’s top 10 export partners accounted 70.7% to overall

import data, Singapore’s total imports valued USD 359 billion in 2019. From
a continental perspective, 66% of Singapore’s total imports by value in 2019
were imported from fellow Asian countries. Another 16.6% of goods were imported
from European suppliers, while 13.5% worth of commodities originated from North
America. Smaller percentages recorded from Oceania (2%), Africa (1.1%) and
Latin America (0.7%).

(4.6%), Australia (1.8%) and Africa (1.4%).

Indonesia (USD 15.6 billion), South Korea (USD 13.7 billion), France (USD 12.1
billion), United Arab Emirates (USD 11.5 billion) and Germany (USD 9.9
billion). These countries accounted 68.9% to overall value of import shipments.

South Korea (USD 15.2 billion) and Vietnam (USD 12.9 billion). These countries
