Non-Basmati Rice Brands Export from India

More than 90% of the non-basmati rice is grown and consumed in Asia. India has exported 6820773 metric tons of non-basmati rice to the world and worth USD 2563 million during the year 2016-17. However, non-basmati rice exports from India recorded USD 1725 million in 2017 only. India exports around 500 varieties of non-basmati rice including India Gate Brand, Golden Sun Brand, Boom Boom Brand, Simba Brand, Radika Brand, Cycle Brand, Muna Brand etc. The major export destinations of Indian non-basmati rice are Benin, Nepal, Senegal, Guinea and United Arab Emirates.

Indian Gate Brand exports of non-basmati rice from India recorded USD 7.74 million in 2017. It is followed by Golden Sun Brand and Boom Boom Brand and recorded export value of USD 6.80 million and USD 6.70 million respectively.
