Argentina’s government is expecting to see record
export levels this year as the country benefits from increasing commodity
prices in the global market. The country is expected to export goods worth
US$90 billion to the world in 2022. That would represent at least a 15% jump
from last year and 38% more than 2019 levels.
Argentine exporters are having a bumper year as prices
for the country’s main crops such as maize, wheat, and soybeans have increased.
The government is also making an effort to boost exports in the energy and
technology sectors, providing more access to dollars for companies exporting in
