Subject: Corrigendum to Public Notice No.38/ (2015-2020) dated 6th October, 2016.

Subject: Procedure governing import of un—shredded scrap (HMS— I & HMS— II) under Para 2.54 of Handbook of Procedures (2015-2020). In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, (2015-2020), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby inserts a new para (v) detailing the conditions governing clearance of imports of un—shredded scrap (HMS— I & HMS— II) by sea ports under Para 2.54 - Import of Metallic Waste and Scrap in the Handbook of Procedures, 2015-2020 as under:

Effect of this Public Notice: The wordings HMS — I & HMS — II as appearing in Public Notice No.38/ (2015-2020) dated 61" October, 2016 are replaced by un-shredded Metallic Waste and Scrap.
